About

I came to health and well-being coaching and mindfulness through my 25-year career as a health care journalist and public relations professional. A graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, my favorite part of writing has always been the interview. I love people's stories – how they got where they are, their triumphs, their failures, their life lessons and awakenings.

In 2013, I made a major career change after my beloved mother died of lung cancer. I trained at the mothership of health coaching – the Duke University Center for Integrative Medicine. As a coach, I still get to hear my clients' stories; however, we partner together to make meaningful shifts to improve their health and well-being in all dimensions.

The foundation of my Duke training was mindfulness. Meditation and yoga have benefitted my own life profoundly, so I pursued additional training to teach science-based mindfulness-based stress reduction tools through Dr. Jon Kabat Zinn's program at Brown University.

In my practice, I partner with people and organizations to actualize their visions of health and well-being – from physical health and emotional wellness to career development or meditation practice. We use a combination of visioning, mindfulness meditation, and honest, open-hearted conversations, to place you clearly on the path of your goals and live fully and meaningfully.
