Classes 2024

I teach courses on mind-body tools for stress relief in-person and online throughout the year. Participants learn how to identify their stress triggers and how to activate the relaxation response, especially when life is challenging.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 

Find peace in the chaos with an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction courses offered in the early fall. Learn how to cope with stress and anxiety and build up emotional and mental resilience for stressful times. 

​

Course is offered in-person only. 

​

Dates:

Thursday evenings, 6-8:30 pm

Sept. 19-November 7, 2024 

(We will reschedule Halloween class)

Orientation sessions (highly recommended):

Healthy Communication in the
Dental Practice
 

This course is for any member of the dental practice to improve their relationships and effectively express themselves through healthy communication, respect, and understanding. The course offers practical skills to listen and speak authentically and compassionately. The course is 4 consecutive weeks via Zoom.

Wednesdays, September 18-October 9, 2024

12-1 pm ET​

Option #2:

Saturdays, November 2-23, 2024

9-10 am ET

Course fee is $250. Discounts offered for 3 or more members of the dental practice.

In my 25-year career in health care, I have witnessed the profound stress and burnout suffered by health care providers. I have created courses specifically to address the stress acuity of dental providers. 

​

This course is for you if you would like to:

  • Create balance and inner peace admidst the chaos

  • Learn and practice science-based tools (meditation, conscious breathing, movements) that relax the nervous system

  • Live with more peace and calm

  • Respond, rather than react, to stress

  • Live more in the moment without distraction
